Vision

Saginaw Arts and Sciences Academy will extend rigorous learning opportunities to all students, in every subject, in order to prepare students for entering postsecondary education and careers in an ever-changing world.

Mission

The Saginaw Arts and Sciences Academy faculty, parents and community partners are committed to serving gifted and talented students. SASA will promote a system of education that:

• Provides the highest level of artistic and academic achievement.
• Prepares students in career pathways through the structure of Concentrations of study that provide innovative instruction and authentic learning experiences.
• Provides collaborative instruction to promote creative and productive learning.

Belief Statement

It is the fundamental belief of the Saginaw Arts & Sciences Academy learning community that:

• The responsibility of education is shared among all SASA staff, parents, students, and the community.
• The diversity of students’ backgrounds, experiences, and interests contributes to the value of each student’s education.
• Every student is a unique individual and should receive an education that offers differentiated instruction.
